We made the decision to re-tile the roof before installing Solar PV. This was because we wanted to make sure the roof was going to last; we really didn't want to discover problems with the roof ten years down the line. Also we wanted to ensure the roof was properly insulated and felted. DAY 1

The roof is covered with felt and batons; a good day's work!

DAY 3
This is what greeted us on Monday morning! So much for waiting until the spring for the better weather!! However looking on the bright side Deb said that "At least it proves that the insulation must be working well!"
