Young Turkey Poults that are really free range; they even roost in the trees!

We rear a  selection of Black Cross andBourbon RedTurkeys that will be ready for Christmas. They will range between 10lb to 20lb ( prepared weight) and are priced at £4.50 per lb. They are hung for 10 days to mature  and tenderise the meat and achieve a gamier flavour. Hanging also reduces the cooking time and these birds only need 12 mins per lb. They are quite special.

They will be oven ready and are sold with the giblets so you can make superb gravy for that most special meal of the year.

Some of our customers have told us that their Christmas turkey was the best they had ever had!

Aylesbury Ducks

We rear a small quantity of Aylesbury ducks for the table each year. These ducks have a wide foraging area as well as a pond in which to swim. Most of the duck available to buy in this country is reared in intensive conditions and do not have the opportunity to exhibit these natural behaviours.

Sasso Chicken

We plan to rear Sasso Table Chicken in the future. These birds are not available in any supermarket in the UK. They are a French table bird renowned for their slower growth and full flavour with superb dark meat and real long legs just like a chicken should have - watch this space for availability.
